As a client of Cats at Home Feline Hospital, you can expect our full attention to your cats’ needs.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly by our receptionist. We confirm the reason for your visit and have you complete your cat’s questionnaire on their lifestyle. We will then usher you into the examination area with your kitty.
In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by recording your cat’s weight and verifying medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit; gathering data for the doctor.
Then, one of our veterinarians will examine your cat, ask you further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once the tests have been run, with your approval, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted.
This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing therefore along with the medical discussion we will provide you with a copy of all diagnostic results as well as a summary of our findings from the physical exam (THE REPORT CARD) for your kitty.
Our veterinary technician will then come back to summarize the information and provide you with helpful cat care information; answering wellness and care questions for you. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow up. We are here to help you understand the health status of your cat by informing you of our findings. Hopefully, from this discussion you will be able to make the best decisions for her ongoing health.
Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
