To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency situations always receive top priority, which is why an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time and to keep your waiting time to a minimum.

We also understand that things happen in our clients’ lives that cause them to run late for an appointment. We appreciate a phone call when this happens, in order for us to better organize our day.

For your convenience, “drop-off” half-day and full-day admission appointments are available. A “drop off’ means that you bring your cat to the hospital in the morning and leave him/her with us for a half or full day. Our doctor will examine the patient in between appointments, or at a time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, the doctor or technician will give you a call to go over the assessment and diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.

Office Visits

In consideration of all our patients and to minimize their anxiety, we respectfully ask that the following be observed:
Please have your cat in a carrier when entering and leaving the hospital. This is to ensure their safety and it will also help provide a sense of security for them.
Please silence your cell phone ringer prior to entering the exam room.


A scheduled appointment may be cancelled with 24 hours notice, without penalty.
Our cancellation fee for a missed appointment with less than 24 hours notice, is $60.00.


Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit card, cash or cheque.
Treatment Plans are available in advance for all services.  All proposed treatment plans are reviewed with you to ensure your understanding and comfort prior to proceeding.


Cats at Home recognizes the importance of protecting the personal privacy of its’ staff, clients and patients.
Your privacy is respected and protected in our hospital. At no time is any information given out about the client or the pet without the consent of the owner.
We do not collect or give out any information, or photos to any third party vendors or internet businesses.

Adhering to the Federal Government policy, we request permission from all of our clients to allow us to contact them periodically, and to have permission to use any photos in a respectful manner to help educate our clientele.
